If you ask me o, I would say that even though Corona virus is a major threat to the world, I still believe there are certain kinds of people who are more likely to survive it if it keeps on being a threat to Nigerians.

There has been many reports across the world on Coronavirus and how it has become the most talked about and dangerous virus in 2020. It has killed a lot of people and it is fast spreading reaching many countries. They say it has its origin from China but it has killed people globally.

It has killed some people in Nigeria and chances at that it will still kill more but I believe that they will be survivors. Yes, there will be people who will be able to emerge victorious despite the coronavirus attack.

Here are the types of people that are likely to defeat any coronavirus attack in their environment:

1. Those who eat the right kind of food: Eating the right kind of food also helps. It is not exactly about eating enough food to fill your stomach but about eating a variety of the right foods that make up a balanced diet which also includes vitamin and mineral rich fruits and vegetables. So those who eat a balanced diet and a variety of fruits and vegetables will help boost their immune system which will make your body stronger than the Coronavirus.

2. Those who maintain proper hygiene: Regular hand and washing can help reduce the ability of the virus to attack you. A lot of the infections we get is as a result of what our hands touch. When we touch surfaces or things that are infected with the virus and then touch our face, the virus gets to our nose and mouth and then gets into our bodies. regular hand washing can help reduce your risk. So, Nigerians who keep clean hands by regularly washing them are more likely to survive. If you can, wash your face regularly too and bath more often.

3. Those who don't get too close to people:
Some people like to socialize with people a lot and get close to them. You are more likely to protect yourself from the virus if you avoid getting too close to people. If you must talk or interact with them, don't get too close and avoid touching them. The rule is to avoid handshaking and hugging for now and just greet people from afar. If you get too close try to avoid saliva, sweat and nasal fluids from touching you. So, those who spend more time and home and rarely get close to people are more likely to survive a Coronavirus attack in Nigeria.

4. Those who keep a clean environment: Regular cleaning of your environment can help minimize your risk to getting infected with coronavirus. Those people who regular clean their environment and sanitize it are more likely to survive a coronavirus attack. You should frequently clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces. You can clean with soap and disinfect with bleach and other form of disinfectant. This is necessary if you are in an environment with commonly used areas or items such as a bathroom, door handle, gate, stairway or seating arrangement.

5. Those who exercise frequently:
Whether you love staying indoors or outdoors, if you exercise periodically, then you are more likely to survive coronavirus than if you don't. Exercise if good for our body as it helps keep the heart pumping and helps blood circulation which eventually helps boost the body's defense system. Nigerians who exercise more are more likely to keep coronavirus at bay than those who don't. So, if you are already used to exercises like walking and running keep doing them. Don't be a stay at home person that does no exercise and only loves eating, sleeping or watching tv. There are lots of exercises one can do at home or outdoors. Exercise frequently to help boost your immune system.

It's just a virus. People may die but some people will definitely survive. This is not the end of the human race but another beginning.
